The Arade River region is one of the prettiest of Algarve. This region includes the municipalities of Portimao, Lagoa, Monchique, and Silves, and in all of these places, you can see and enjoy the pretty views, far from the noise of the city.

The Arande River is the jewel of this region, and for centuries, it has given substance to its people. One of the nice activities or things you can do here is take a boatride to Silves, travelling down the entire Arade River. This river is one of Algarve´s last natural treasures.
