Kitesurf Portimao, Faro, Algarve, Portugal

Portimao is an ideal destination to practice kitesurf. Here there are various kitesurfing competitions on its beaches year after year. One of the best known of these competitions is that of the KPWT World Circuit.

Portimao is a great place to practice kitesurf, as the winds are mainly from the north, or off shore (recommended only for experts), and on shore or side shore, depending on your location, which is better for beginners. The best place to kitesurf is on Alvor Beach.
