The climate in Portimao is one of the most agreeable that you can find on the entire Iberian Peninsula. It has very mild weather, both in summer and in winter.

In summer, the temperature in Portimao is warm, but not hot. It can get up to about 26 or 27 degrees celsius during the day, and about 17 or 18 at night. Extreme temperatures in this zone are rare, and if they happen, they are brought in by northern Atlantic Ocean winds that cool the temperature. In winter, the temperaturse don´t lower too much. Rarely it can get down to 8 or 89 degrees, but that is not common. The raniest months in the south of Portugal is during November and December.
